Assess the quality of Murrah Buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) Bull Semen regarding seasonal and geographical variability in Nepal

We carried out this study to assess the quality of semen regarding seasonal and geographical variability Murrah buffalo breeding bull in Nepal. aimed access seme n murrah considering help standardize producing protocol concern. A total eight bulls were used. Semen collection was done at once week two ejaculations considered an interval 30 minutes during Summer (June August), Autumn (September November), Winter (December February), Spring (March May) from 2017 2020 AD. Immediately after collection, initial motility, sperm concentration, pre-filling post-thaw live sperm, abnormality sperms evaluated. Findings revealed that season had affect (p<0.005) volume, individual post- thawing motility except for volume abnormality(p>0.05). However, pre filling did not vary months (p>0.05). It is thus well reflected several traits related quantity may depending on location age (p<0.05) with motility. Accordingly collected autumn spring percentage average post thaw above 52% success artificial insemination good buffaloes.
